Fr. Kirby loves Parish Missions! He sees them as an extension of the prophetic call to conversion and renewal found throughout salvation history within the community of faith. Fr. Kirby has led parish missions for Advent, Lent, Marian celebrations, patronal feast days, and other occasions.

Whenever a parish is interested in inviting Fr. Kirby to do a mission, he prefers to talk and collaborate with the pastoral leadership and see what the needs of the community are and what God desires to say to his people through a Parish Mission.

Parish Missions can be anywhere from 2-5 days, can have double tier presentations consisting of morning and evening sessions, can include other events such as a Confirmation or youth retreat, young adult gathering, Anointing/Healing Mass, bioethics/end-of-life workshop, blessing of married people, blessing of grandparents, etc.

The theme of a Parish Mission can include an array of topics within the scope of discipleship, such as Hope and Mercy, Baptism and Mission, Faith and Family, Conversion and Community, Living the Sacraments, Our Relationship with Jesus Christ, Believing and Belonging, and related topics.
